Horizontal and Vertical Lifelines
Permanent fall arrest systems are installed on surfaces to allow anchor points in a continuous line along either vertical or horizontal surfaces at height. Vertical lifelines secure the safety of people climbing up or down such as on multi-story ladders.
Horizontal fall arrest systems secure workers in areas where there is a risk of falling when moving on horizontal surfaces such as roofs. With these systems, the user can freely walk and do his work along the rope or the rail, without having to unhook from the intermediate anchors and curved elements.
