Turnberry Ocean Club is 54-story tower in Sunny Isles, Florida. At 640 feet and 54 stories tall, it is now one of the tallest buildings on the Atlantic Coast.
Sky Climber and Sky Climber Access Solutions provided both temporary and permanently installed suspended access equipment for this luxury residential tower.
Temporary equipment used on this project includes Sky Stage Ultra platforms (SSU), Roof Rigging and LNX 3-phase hoists. With a 600-foot drop this equipment was used to facilitate construction of curtain wall elements on the building’s all-glass exterior.
Sky Climber provided permanently-installed equipment for future building maintenance needs, including davits, Intermittent stabilization anchors, and roof anchors. Additionally, Sky Climber teams designed custom ISA’s (intermittent stabilization anchors) to integrate with the curtain wall system and provided custom tile-able cover plates for the recessed davits and anchors.
