Important: Distribute loads. Use only listed configurations. Final setup must be reviewed by a qualified person per OSHA/ANSI and Sky Climber manuals.
Counterweight Calculator
For topside outrigger beams. OSHA safety factors. Calculates required CW per beam (stirrup) and shows fulcrum working load for mounting on dollies or scaffold frames.

Important: Keep the outreach-to-backspan ratio ≥ 1.5 : 1. When using 1500 lb hoists, outreach must not exceed 3.5 ft on a standard beam and 5 ft with a cable truss. Follow the manufacturer’s manual or approved drawings and use under the supervision of a competent person.
Voltage Drop Calculator
Estimate running voltage at the platform. Assumes SOOW (stranded copper) cords. For planning only—verify on site.
Results
*1-phase uses 2 × I × R × L. 3-phase uses √3 × I × R × L. R is SOOW stranded copper resistance per foot for the selected AWG (≈20 °C). Actual drop may be higher due to warm cords, connections, or older cables.
